3-hour Tour with an English-speaking local guide

This tour first takes you to Ryugeji Temple, located just a 10-minute drive from the Port of Shimizu. Founded in 1670 during the early Edo period, this historic Nichiren-shu temple is famous for three things:
its breathtaking gardens, rich history, and stunning seasonal nature. To top it off, you can try on a traditional Kimono and relax with delicious Japanese tea and sweets while taking in the peaceful garden view!

After that, Nihondaira is our next destination!
Nihondaira Yume Terrace : From its outdoor deck—a 200-meter observation corridor—you can enjoy a stunning 360-degree panoramic view of majestic Mt. Fuji, Suruga Bay, Shimizu Port, the Izu Peninsula, and the Southern Alps!

Right next door is the Nihondaira Ocha Kaikan, a tea cultural facility surrounded by sprawling green tea fields. Here, you can fully experience the charm of Japanese tea through seeing, picking, tasting, and shopping!

This tour started off at Miho no Matsubara, a renowned worldwide location with stunning contrast of black sand, blue sea, green pines, and majestic Mt. Fuji along a 7 km coastline with 30,000 pine trees. On a scorching day over 30°C, our guests refreshed themselves in the cool sea waters!

Next stop, the elegant Kunozan Toshogu Shrine!
Serving as the architectural model for the famous Nikko Toshogu, its shrine buildings are true masterpieces of traditional Japanese craftsmanship, featuring intricate lacquerwork, delicate carvings, and vibrant colors. In 2010, the Main Hall, Ishi-no-ma, and Worship Hall were designated as National Treasures!
