Fuji Safari Park is one of Japan’s most exciting wildlife parks, located on the southern foothills of Mt. Fuji. Home to around 60 species and 800 animals living in spacious, natural-style habitats, the park offers a close‑up safari experience by car, Jungle Bus, or guided 4WD. Visitors can observe lions, tigers, elephants, giraffes, and many more animals roaming freely. The Fureai (petting) Zone allows guests to meet smaller animals such as red pandas and hippos. With beautiful views of Mt. Fuji and a variety of tours, the park provides a fun and immersive wildlife adventure for all ages.

🚐 Access from Shimizu Port (Hinode Pier)

1. Taxi / Private Transfer – Fastest & Most Direct

  • Travel time: approx. 60–70 minutes
  • Most convenient for cruise passengers with limited time.

2. Shuttle Bus → JR Shimizu Station → Train → Gotemba → Local Bus

  1. Shuttle Bus
    • Hinode Pier → JR Shimizu Station(10 min)
  2. JR Train
    • Shimizu → Gotemba Station(approx. 90-120 min)
  3. Local Bus
    • Gotemba Station → Fuji Safari Park(approx. 35–40 min)

Total: approx. 3hour
Not recommended for cruise passengers unless staying overnight.
